The rapid development of the iron and steel industry requires higher and higher quality and performance of refractories. Magnesia carbon bricks with excellent performance have been widely used in industrial production Fused magnesia With the development of magnesia carbon brick production technology, it has developed rapidly. The fused magnesia has larger grain size, higher purity and density, so it can meet the requirements of good magnesia carbon brick production. 98 fused magnesia has the advantages of high purity, large crystal grain, compact structure, strong slag resistance, good thermal shock stability, etc. At the same time, the main crystal phase is periclase, with coarse grains and direct contact, which is widely used in the preparation of high-grade magnesia bricks, magnesia carbon bricks and various amorphous refractory materials, and can also be used as high-temperature electrical insulation materials in electrical components.

Production process of fused magnesia:

In specific industrial production, different specifications of fused magnesia have different raw materials. Ordinary fused magnesia usually uses magnesite directly as raw material, while large crystal fused magnesia uses light burned magnesium as raw material. The equipment uses submerged arc furnace, and three pieces of recycled or non recycled graphite are mostly used. The specific process is as follows: charging → ignition lift electrode → gradual charging → smelting (magnesite is sintered and melted by the heat generated by high current) → natural cooling → crushing and grading sorting → warehousing. Current production situation of fused magnesia with the fused temperature above 2750 ℃:
